At Little Walkers, we embrace a play-based, holistic approach to learning. Through exploration, discovery, and creative expression, children develop key skills in all areas, including language, math, science, social-emotional development, and physical well-being.
The world of music is a wondrous place for kids to explore and learn! It ignites their imaginations, gets their bodies moving, and fosters creativity and emotional development.
From the time Ravi was born, we became very aware that inclusivity for a kid like him who happens to be biracial will be very important. From the neighborhood he grows up in; to his friends, his playmates, and general interaction with the world we are very intentional in fostering a sense of community, a sense of belonging so he’s not the odd one out by his difference which really shouldn’t be an issue but such is the world we live in. So when we set foot at Little Walkers we met the head teacher who was so warm and welcoming, attentive and keen, we listened to her and the vision of the school became one with the intentions we had for our Son Ravi, it was, therefore, a no brainer that Ravi had found an amazing school for his formative years and early childhood education, so he enrolled and it’s been the school of our dreams, very inclusive not just to our son but to all the children who happen to be different in their special ways; I highly recommend Little Walkers for all our children to all prospective parents/guardians.
As a parent I've seen our school as more of a community. There is a close knit relationship between the scholars & the teachers..a deep connection where I always feel my son is safe in school with the teachers and the other scholars.. I have also seen a very tight bond between the scholars themselves. You can easily tell the children have a splendid relationship..by their interaction at school & even how they speak of one another. I can confidently say that the teachers pay keen attention to the scholars and they groom them to bring out the best in the children. For instance, I brought my son,a very...shy & timid boy to school and I rejoice everyday to see a young confident boy who is not intimidated easily even by crowds...this is mainly because the teachers saw a strength in him that was hidden. Despite the diversity in status or the difference in background one can easily feel they are treated equally both the scholars & the parents. Lastly, the school has an environment that is very conducive enabling the kids to grow socially as well as academically.
Little Walkers has given our daughter a scope to grow: studies, sports, and milestones. We appreciate the administration and wonderful teachers for their guidance in these formative years. May God bless you abundantly!
